Replacements

Note

Replacements are an EchoFeed Pro feature

Replacements allow you to replace keywords in your posts - the ideal use case for this is for swapping usernames between a post from Mastodon and one going to Bluesky (or vice versa).

If I was taking my Mastodon feed RSS and cross-posting it to Bluesky, I would end up with mentions like @echofeed@hub.7622.me which isn't used on Bluesky - @echofeed.app is EchoFeed's username on there. So I can add a replacement for this, and my username, so when the Echo goes to Bluesky, the usernames will be correct.

If you want to be very specific about whats replaced, for example EchoFeed gets replaced but not echofeed then enable "Case Sensitive" for the replacement.

Replacements will not replace words found in URLs or links.
